The Gold Coast has the best beaches I have ever had the pleasure of swimming in world wide. The sand is sparkly white and the water is crystal clear. The Gold Coast is spoilt for choice when it comes to beaches because you get to have both the swell and the rock like pool options. If you like to surf (or want to learn) than the Gold Coast is perfect for you. I personally love Burleigh Heads beach because you get the shore waves or you can walk through the nature forest and go swimming in the calmer waters. If you’re lucky enough, you might just spot a whale or dolphin on your walk to the secluded spot just behind Burleigh Heads.
