Interview on 09/05/2017 with Billie Love

MELBOURNE ESCORT

Billie Love, you are clearly a very intelligent and logical escort – I’d love to ask you what you’d desire most in the world?

Gosh, that’s a difficult question! Partly it’s so difficult because I’m a very desirous person (is “desirous” a word?). There’s so many things I want, and of course some of them are selfish (passion, great sex, dancing, lots of laughter, music music music). But I guess the things I deeply desire stem from the very basic idea that I wish people would be nicer to one another? Which sounds so soppy and cliché, but I think if everyone could do that then the world would be a much better place for everyone (I’m looking at you, Trump et al). I realise that this idea is simplistic in so many ways (the world and human relations are painfully complex), but I also think there’s a basic truth to it.

I see that you have a keen interest in music… If you don’t mind me asking, what are your top 3 songs to have sex to? Assuming of course that music has its place in your bedroom.

Music most definitely has a place in my bedroom - in fact, it has a place almost everywhere in my life. I love so many different types of music and my favorites change so regularly, it’s hard to narrow it down to a ‘top 3’. So I’ve chosen 3 songs that have stood the test of time and remained on my ‘sex playlist’ for many years:

You’ve recently made a move to Melbourne. Might I ask, from a professional standpoint, the noticeable changes for an escort when moving from Sydney to Melbourne?

It’s very early days yet - I’ve only been in Melbourne for a month, and half of that time I’ve been on tour. Of course the most noticeable difference is the law around sex work, which is much more restrictive in Victoria (and thus makes it harder to work). But one thing I’m really excited about in terms of my move to Melbourne is that I’m going to be doing more escorting - I’ve reduced the hours at my office job for just that reason. I’m really looking forward to spending more time doing what I love, and also having the opportunity to go on tour around Australia.

Following on from the last question, could you tell us what Billie loves to do in Melbourne?

Well so far I’ve been spending my free time in Melbourne doing short courses in various creative pursuits (I did 4 courses in my first 5 days!), and my new favourite thing to do is calligraphy. I don’t know that I’m particularly good at it but I just love the process of using a pen, nib and ink pot to create something beautiful. Other than that I think Melbourne has lots of wonderful things on offer, and I’m looking forward to finding out more about the restaurants, cafes, old movie cinemas, live music and art galleries. There’s just so much on my to do list.

I just have to ask you, what is the weirdest thing you’ve done? Be it embarrassing or just plain silly, we’d love to giggle at a Billie Love secret!

I’m somewhat of an oddball, so I guess there’s a lot of things I’ve done over the years that would be considered weird? From doing a nudie run in Berlin when it was minus 4 degrees and snowing (it was a dare), to making & wearing some strange costumes, to some pretty wild sexual experiences.

Finally, if you could have one super-power for a day what would it be and how would you spend that day?

I’m a thrill-seeker so I think I’d most want to be able to fly, but really really fast. Flying itself would be so much fun, and if I could fly super-fast I could go anywhere - the Galapagos Islands, the Great Australian Bight, Chang Tang, Antarctica, the Kerguelen Islands etc. I’d spend the day flying around the world and seeing everything I long to see.
